Importing leads into OAT is quick and simple. Follow these steps to successfully import your leads:

1. Access Leads Section:

   • Navigate to the Leads Screen'.

2. Initiate Import Process:

   • Click on the three dots in the Leads section to reveal additional options.
   • Select 'Import' from the dropdown menu.

3. Download and Fill the Template:

   • Click on 'Download template csv' to get the standard format.

   • Fill in the template carefully. Note that if you want to include text messages in the campaign for an imported lead, verify that the lead has consented to be reached out by phone. Fill in the 'Express Consent' column where necessary. See full ‘Express Consent’ instructions here.

     • If the lead was received by SmartAsset, set the consent date to the day you received the lead.

     

4. Upload Your CSV File:

   • Click on 'Select leads file' or drag your filled csv file into the designated area.

5. Verify Leads:

   • Once uploaded, verify the details of the leads.

6. Configure Campaign and Lead Type:

   • Select the appropriate Campaign, Lead Type, tag(s), CRM configuration, and any other configuration settings for your imported leads. See screenshot:

   

7. Finalize Import:

   • Click on 'Import' to complete the process.
   • Your leads are now imported into OAT.

8. Check Imported Leads:

   • Click on 'Leads' again to view your newly imported leads.
