To connect Calendly to Redtail CRM Calendar using Zapier, follow these steps:
- Prepare Your Accounts:
- Ensure you're subscribed to the Calendly Standard Plan to use Zapier.
- Have a free or paid Zapier account. More advanced features may require a paid account.
- Connect Calendly to Zapier:
- On any Calendly page, click on "Integrations".
- Select "Zapier" and then "Unique API key".
- Copy this API key for later use.
- Set Up a Test Event in Calendly:
- In Calendly, go to your homepage, select an event type, and view the booking page.
- Fill out the details and schedule the event. This provides sample data for testing in Zapier.
- Create a Zap:
- Log into your Zapier account.
- Create a new Zap and choose Calendly as the Trigger app.
- Select the event type (e.g., "Invitee Created" or "Invitee Canceled").
- Connect to Calendly using the previously copied API key.
- Set up the Trigger by choosing either a user or organization webhook subscription scope.
- Test the Trigger with the invitee data from the test event you scheduled in Calendly.
- Set Up Redtail CRM Actions:
- After setting up the Trigger, select Redtail CRM as the action app.
- Choose the specific action you want to happen in Redtail CRM when the Calendly event occurs (e.g., creating a new contact, updating an opportunity).
- Configure the Redtail CRM action details.
